what does the compressor do? can I remove it to take it to a parts dealer for a check-up without hurting it or my fridge? someone said it would have to be recharged, is this true? why would it need to be recharged? I am going to replace the relay and capacitor, but first want to take off the one there and have those checked as well, is this a good idea, can they even be tested? the point of testing these parts is to determine if it is the problem.:o
