Motor whine
Model Number: lsq8243h Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
Washer runs great but makes a whining sound on all cycles. Is there some kind of bearing to lube? It just started. It was a quiet machine till last week

There are no motor bearing to replace, but open it up and check the pump and the coupling and see if they are the problem.
If not, by-pass the lid switch and run it with the cabinet off to see if you can hear the location of the noise.
