I have a Whirlpool stackable washer/dryer, model #WET3300SQ. Occasionally, the water temperature is as it should be. Other times, however, it will fill with hot or warm water when set to cold, and vice versa. My first impression was that the temperature control switch (part #W10114118) must be bad, but figured it wouldn't hurt to get a second opinion before ordering. I understand that some people have had similar problems with a faulty inlet valve, but it seems that the problems were more consistent in those cases (washer would only supply hot or cold on all settings). Any suggestions/diagnoses would be greatly appreciated!

Normally this problem would be associated with a automatic temperature control board, but I do not see one on this model so I would go with replacing the water temp switch.

If you buy from this site and the part does not fix the problem you can return it, see the returns policy for details and conditions.
