Model Number: WLW4700BBL Brand: Hotpoint Age: More than 10 years
When I previously lost agitation I replaced the Coupling ASM Agitator. Now that it has stopped agitating again I suspected the same. Pulled our the agitators and found almost all of the teeth on the transmission shaft are barely nubs and the coupling is smooth inside. My question is: How hard is it to replace the transmision shaft? or would it be better to just replace the coupling alone and hope the nubby teeth keep it agitating for a while?
This is a GE/Hotpoint, WLW4700BBL, about 23 years old that worked perfect until now. AlwaysFixIt Ads By Google Related Models |
