My problem is as it is just sitting and not being used the inlet flume drips and slowly fills the tub, my ? is is it usually the flume leaking or is it the hose up to the flume or possibly both, thanks Mark

Probably the valve assembly is not closing completely when the machine is not in use. Sometimes grit and dirt can get into it. I would replace the assembly, that should do it.
