Washer won't spin/drain but it will fill and agitate
Model Number: cw20p8ds Brand: Crosley Age: More than 10 years
My Crosley heavy Duty washer will fill and agitate but when it gets to the spin cycle, it stops. It won't drain the water nor will it spin. I have tried all of the 'easy' fixes (rearranged the clothes, taken some of them out, bucketed some of the water out, etc. ) I have now taken the front panel off and am trying to figure out what to check... PLEASE HELP!!!

Take off the belt and see if the motor is turning when it is supposed to be in the spin/drain cycle and if the transmission turns freely. If the motor is not turning with the belt off, check and if bad replace the lid switch.
