If there is a leak at the center of the tub then you have to replace the mounting stem (#30 on the diagram) and the tub bearing (#45). You will need the special spanner wrench to do this repair. The mounting stem kit comes with the installation instructions. - The mounting stem kit Part number: AP4390013
