The washer won't drain. The water fills up so much that it leaks out the door and floods the basement. A nd code was displayed. Because it won't drain, it won't spin. Any suggestions?

Here's a breakdown, Model MAH5500BWW
Start with checking the pump for an obstruction and that it's actually trying to work.
