Will I have to replace my whole console to fix a broken start button?

Sorry, but it is integrated into the console. Not having one in front of me I cannot say if the start buttom is even removable. This is one reason why we try to recommend basic machines.

My Start Button Broke too. I disassembled the top console, which is easy to do. Pulled off the electronic circuit board by detatching the right clips, found the broken plastic part (springy retraction thing) at the start button, superglued it back together, then put hot melt glue around that superglue connection and put it back together. I was happy that I didn't have to spend $180 for a whole new top console. If you really want to be kinda ghetto drill a hole so you can get to the button on the circuit board with say a pencil. :) Good luck.
