We were given a used washer and they said the hot water was not shutting off when filling tub. If they shut the hot water after filling, the washer would finish the cycle fine. What might we be looking at to repair this washer?

It's the valve that the water hoses are hooked onto in the back of the washer. the hot side contacts are burned out. easy to replace and not to expensive.

What is the part number, I seen this DC62-30314K for a valve but it does not say hot water valve. Is the DC62-30314K correct? This DC62-00142G is it is for cold water valve.

I found it here: http://www.searspartsdirect.com...06&prst=&shdMod=
