My GE front load washer will not tumble/spin. I can hear a humming noise coming from motor but that is it. I tried unplugging it but same results. Anybody?

This is actually a Frigidaire made model, sold under the GE label.

Look inside the lower service panel for some tech notes that will show you how to do some basic diagnostic tests, and test some of the components. Focus on the main control unit and the motor control unit, and also on the door lock assembly which is a weak point in these machines.
