I loaded my Kenmore front load washer (I'm at work so I don't have the model number), shut the door, put the detergent in, and pulled the knob to start like I always do! NOTHING! It's like it's not even plugged it, but I checked the curcuit, and the power is fine (in fact I had just finished a load with no issue). Any ideas on what to check next?

Well without a model number I am speculating that you have a Frigidaire made front loader with a timer. Check to see if power is getting to the door lock assembly. If so, try replacing the assembly, if not try replacing the timer.
