The top of my lid switch came off when I lifted the machine front in order to replace the pump. Some of the lid switch parts (spring & flat contact) fell out of the switch. Is there a schematic that shows the parts' location so I can reassemble the switch for all I can find is an outside view of it? Or do I need to replace it at this point? Thank you!

Just go ahead and replace it, it is not expensive and that will fix things once and for all.
