Default Rotates slow in spin and noisy
Model Number: LWA50AW   Brand: Amana   Age: 5 - 10 years

I replaced the drive belt and pulley idley and installed new brake pads to the base plate. On spin cycle it rotates clock wise, the drum moves very slowly and the spin pulley bangs against the helix pin making a very loud noise. Did I connect the brake pads correctly, I insert them into the middle of the base. Please advise I've tried everything.

try to take the ring off the top of the tub and look down the sides of the tank to look for a sock or something restricting the basket if the machine roars in the spin cycle replace tube seal a common problem
