Default water pump going bad
Model Number: 110.45981400   Brand: Kenmore   Age: 1 - 5 years

Hello, Our water pump on our washing machine is making a loud grinding, humming noise when pumping water out, louder as it empties, I've taken the pump out and clean it, there was no signs of any blockage anywhere inside. just wanted to make sure it couldn't be something else electrical that could cause this .The washer is only 2.5 years old. We have had alot of problems with this he4t washer by kenmore. Thanks for any help on this. Sincerely Craig

If it is grinding and making noise sounds like it may damaged, I would replace it and check your prockets closer in the future before stuff is put into the washer, items getting into the pump is what damages them..
