My Performa pav1000aww wont spin.. I change the Thrust Bearing kit, Stator, Spring, Brake rotor, Belt, Timer, and it still wont spin. I tip the washer over took out the springs that were connected underneath and pulled out the whole tube with the transmission and bearing kit still connected.
I turn it over to see why it wont spin. I notice when I tried to turn the tub by hand it would not movie.. I tried the pulley and it turn the tub but you could feel the tension, when I took my hand off it stop quickly like if I put the emergency brake on or something.. when I reach down to check the tub again It was again stuck. I plug in the washer and turned it on - the motor runs and turns perfect with out any belts on it… The water pump pulley also turns good by hand, need help..
Did i put the Cam right on the Bearing kit..? Not sure how it was suppose to lined up.. or does it matter

Hard to say what you likely did, but I suspect you have not put the brake assembly back together correctly and the brakes are not releasing to allow it to spin.

Ok I seem to have located the problem.. But I’m in need of assistance.. I removed the Belt and check all the pulleys, I notice the motor pulley rotates with some tension, and not smooth - I also notice that when I 1st tried to turn the motor pulley it was wedge against the metal of the washer.. So when I Tired to turn it - I t made this load squeaking noise, then stop turning.. Then when I move the motor away from the metal It turn freely but when I let it go - it gets wedge right back against the metal and Either turns slowly or not at all… how can I fix this problem with out buying new motor.
