IG,

The most common problems that cause the water inlet fuse to blow are :

a) Numerous off balance loads
Whenever the lid switch and the check switch have closed circuits at the
same time, the fuse blows and unit wont fill.
(check and make sure the washer is level).

b) A malfunctioning switch assembly, the actuator lever could be sticking,
loose wire connection, or sticking switch.

If your sure, you're not experiencing off balanced loads, the washer is level, then you may want to consider replacing the lid switch assembly, the next time you need to replace the fuse.

You can also perform a "field fix" as well.
From the inside of the washer cabinet, you have 3 centerring springs one in each rear corner and one directly in front/center,
Add 2 complete revolutions(no more than 2 turns) to the 2 rear centerring springs( counter clockwise) to increase the rear tension, that will make it harder to go off balance, as long as everything else is correct.

Good Luck,
:) :) :)

Thank you Joe, but my husband god mad and decided to buy the new washer. Right now I know to ask first, before I spend money on repairs. Thanks again.

IG,

Too bad, It would've been less expensive to repair, and (in my opinion) it's a better washer, than what you're going to get.

Good Luck,
