My Roper washer will spin out on the rinse cycle, but will not spin on the actual spin cycle. I checked the lid switch and it is working so what else would cause this problem?

Can you clarify what is happening? Is the machine spinning during the rinse agitation or not spinning after it drains from the rinse cycle?

I reran the machine and it actually will spin between the wash and rinse cycle, but doesn't spin after that.

Since it seems to be mechanically sound I would change out the timer. Check the lid switch, but since it spins after the wash cycle it is likely the timer.

My Roper washer will spin out on the rinse cycle, but will not spin on the actual spin cycle. I
