I need help determining the source of a noise in side the tub of my front loader washer. I replaced the broken shock damper,a couple of weeks ago,and now about 15 loads later,something inside the tub, has seem to have broken and the drum onlt rotates about 3/4 around,hits something with a loud klunk,and will not rotate any further.Also even after replacing the dampers,the drum,still seemed a little out of balance ,and there was also a definite squeaking noise during agitation,not to mention a horribly loud out of balance noise during spin cycle,and as I said,it wont work at all now.

I am worried that your spider assembly and/or rear bearings are the problem. They fail regularly on these models, in wihch case replacement is the likely option since the parts are very expensive. Also make sure you had the shock in correctly and that another has not broken.
