Ok so I'm still working on this spacemaker washer/dryer that won't drain water in any cycle. I've taken the pump out and tested for continuity and even flicked it on for asecond just to see if actually turned .both seem Ok Is it possible that the pump may have continuity and even turned when voltage applied but stii be broken i.e. not be turning fast enough?

You need to see if the pump is getting voltage (use a meter) when the machine is in the drain mode. If so, the pump is bad, if not check the wiring and if that checks out the timer may be your problem.
