The washer will go through the initial fill / wash but then stops and will not spin and empty water. It is like the power was shut off. If you turn the control knob to the beginning of a new wash cycle it will start a new cycle but again stops at the spin cycle to empty the water.

Check the LID-SWITCH, I think you'll find that its bad!!!!:)

You may also want to chck the pump for an obstruction.
