Are you getting any fault codes? Have you check the pump to make sure it is clear and not stopped up? Remove the toe panel to gain access to the pump. Check the trap on the front of the pump, and clean out any trash you find in there. Hope this helps.

Thanks for reply. No fault codes were shown on washer. the motor windings showed 6 ohms. I'm hearing a clicking noise from the motor control unit when washer goes to spin. sounds like relay operating.thanks.

Ok check pins 4 and 5 for resistance on the motor. Also check from pin M13.3 to M13.1 on the MCU and see if you have 5.4 volts DC. Let me know what you find.

Jeff, thanks for the reply. My meter shows 120 ohms from pin4 to pin5 on the motor. I had already pulled the mcu and motor out of the washer, so I may have to reinstall both in the washer. I suppose I need to power up the washer to check pin13.1 to pin 13.3 for the dc voltage. Thanks!

Jeff, I show 120 Ohms frompin 4 to 5 on the whirlpool washer frontloader motor. If this reading shows the motor good , Then I will buy a new MCU. I am getting desperate. I will be buying my parts from you people, Because you have the best prices, and this forum is great. MJ

If the motor is testing good, then replace the MCU. Glad we could help! Thanks for your business.
