maytag neptune washer
Model Number: Mah5500bww Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
Everything works except the start button, can not start to wash clothes! all lights are on except the Start button????
We ran all test to check to see what is wrong and nothing. need to fix it but don't know what to fix , please help!!! Ads By Google Related Models

I could be the door lock mechanism, machine doesn't know if it should start, no signal to the timer, or computer board

Maytag Neptune wont start - MAH5500BWW
It sounds like the machine control in the top console has an issue. I always recommend to my customers to invest in a decent surge protector for any digital washing machine to help protect it against power problems such as voltage spikes and near lightning strikes. You can get a single outlet surge protector from hardware store. See Neptune washer for more Neptune tips.
