Default intermittant cyclying
Brand: GE   Age: 1 - 5 years

when my washer almost completes the chosen cycle the agitator goes very slow and all my lights flicker. After a few minutes the cycle continuues and this trouble repeats itself a few times. eventuall the cycly finishes. Had a repair man who said get rid of the machine but it has done this for a year now, I can,t help feel it is fixable.

If the washer is doing this in slow speed and not high speed you have a bad motor, would need to replace the motor with a kit that costs close to $200.00.
