I am in the process of replacing a rotted hub. Got the hub nut at top of transmission. Cannot get it to thread. Stripped the nut & have ordered a new one to try again. any suggestions??

About the only thing I can think of is that to remind you that this nut is reverse threaded, and it is aluminum so it does tear up easily.

You must use the special spanner wrench to get the nut off WX5X1325
