Trying to replace agitator dogs
Model Number: GSL9365E02 Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
I am having trouble removing the assembly that holds the agitator dogs on this model. It is about 7 inches down the center tube of the agitator and is securely fastened. It does not drop out when turned upside down. Will it screw off?

Solved my own problem....the upper part of the agitator will separate from the bottom by force when pulled straight up--you will think you are breaking it--but once apart you can get access to replace the agitator dogs.
