Hi!
When you pull the start switch to begin a cycle, the washer just emits a buzzing sound. I can't tell if it's the regular buzzer, or the timer, or something else. Should I start by pulling the door latch/switch out and testing it. Or is it usually the timer, or speed controller with this model ?

Interesting, not usually a complain on these machines. I do not think it is the speed control board, though guilty in most situations the speed control board is probably innocent in this one.

I would check to see that power is getting to the water in let valves. It may be that the buzz is from water trying to get into the machine and unable to do so. Also check the door lock mechanism as it is another weak link in these models and a likely culprit.
