You have a bad tub seal. To do this repair you will need some special tools. You will need a spring removal tool and a spaner wrench. Part number: AP3854720
and Part number: AP3854730
. Now if you wish to do this you will need the tub seal kit Part number: AP4025154
. To get started on this repair you will need to unplug unit. Remove the belt from the bottom of the machine. Lift top of machine releasing the tabs in the front corners. Next remove the front panel of the machine. Once the front panel is out of your way, remove the adgitator from the unit. Next remove the top tub ring. Remove the 4 bolts from the inner tub assembly, and remove inner tub. Then remove the springs from the bottom of the outer tub. Remove the pressure hose and drain hose from the outer tub. Next you will need to remove the large bolts from around the bottom of the outer tub. Now remove the outer tub assembly. Turn the tub over and mark a line on the base plate and tub for reassembly later. Now remove the base plate from the outer tub. Then remove the screws holding in your tub seal. Reinstall all new parts in reverse order.
