Check your fuse behind the control panel by pulling the 2 inside screws on the top and rotating it down. if so you have a lid switch assy that needs replaced.

please open the diagram for your model and look at the diagram for the base. where the lid switch plunger goes in to the control panel you will see a fuse holder. this website has a great breakdown.

Dont have diagram for base, but I followed the plunger into the control panel, unplug it and removed it. It appears sealed. Does it open? How? Plunger module has 4 electrical connections on it marked Neut, Line, Motor, Machine

Perhaps the model # i am seeing is different from your actual? By pulling up the diagram for your top the fuse is item #10.

The part I removed is part #15 on the "top" diagram. If there is a fuse inside, how do I get to it? Or is the switch bad. ?

Ok that is the newer style of lid switch assy and it will prevent the machine from doing anything including fill, spin. It would be a good bet that the switch would need to be replaced. You can however ohm the switch out to be sure if you have the wiring diagram for your washer.
