I recently replaced the shock absorbers on my washing machine. It still sounds like a jet plane landing when it's in the spin cycle. I spun the empty basket and heard a slight squeak and noticed the basket moves up and down slightly while spinning. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Please help......I stink.

You did not post a full model number, but based on your symptoms and the history of Kenmore front load washer I am going to make a guess that you have a Frigidaire built Kenmore front loader.

Your problem is likely the rear bearings, and maybe the spider support, in which case the cost of the repair means you are far better off with a new machine. This is a chronic problem with these models, unfortunately.
