is there any way i can bypass the lid lock, & jump it out, and get it to work. ?? :confused: thanks for any help..:)

This lid lock is not the standard on off switch, and it the wiring goes through the control board and it is a safety item so I am going to strongly recommend against it. If it is broken, I suggest you replace it, you will be a little poorer in the short run but happier in the long run.

Hey; thanks for the info:) . a friend tried to unlock it with pocket knife and broke it :eek: .. and it hasn't worked since, will that keep it from working or would it be the control board ? i'm at a lost on this machine never worked on one like this before, any help would be great , thanks::)

No, that should not have damaged the control board. My concern with by-passing it was that since it goes through the control board, the current from the by-pass might damage the control board. Not likely, but why take the chance, since you also want to have it as a safety device.

I am from the "do it once and do it right" school, although to be honest I have flunked out of that school on several occasions.
