Model Number: MHWZ400TQ01 Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
I was just wondering if the bellow on a maytag front loader is hard to change. The bellow has a small tear and it leaks alot when the cleaning cycle is being run or if the washer does not have a full load in it.

It is not supposed to be difficult, but it can be very hard to do just because getting the bellows on is sometimes very difficult.
Look under the top and see if the tech sheet is there (or inside the lower service panel) and see if it gives you any pointers on changing the bellows. If you decide to do it, get someone to help you. It goes a lot better with a helper, beer and a lot of swearing.
