Noisy while running
Model Number: lsq9264hq0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
When the agitator is washing or spinning it makes a wining noise. When it stops it stops abbruptly. Does this sound like a clutch problem or a basket drive problem?

An abrupt stop in spin is probably dragging brake shoes, you can go to my sticky above, "replacing direct drive washer brake shoes" for info on this. The whining is probably something stuck in the pump.
