Hi! This 8 year old Kitchen Aid washer agitates just fine, pumps out the water, and then doesn't spin. I can hear a motor of some sort whirring away, but the basket doesn't spin. Help! Help!

This happened to me - I thought it might be the clutch, but it turned out to be the rubber motor coupler to the transmission. Pop the pump and motor off to check it.
