How Do I Know If There Is More Wrong Then Just The Waterpump Is No Good. I Want To Run The Washer And Make Sure The Motor Is Not Damaged But It Wont Do Anything But Hum As Its Wants To Run Water To Fill The Tub. I Cant Get It To Advance To Another Stage To Check The Spin Cycle And Make Sure The Motor Works. Is There Another Way To Check.i Am Going To Order A New Pump But I Want To Make Sure There Is Not More Wrong, As I Will Just Buy A New Washer Before I Put To Much Money Into This One. Thanks! Brent-

I am not sure I understand your problem or why you think the pump is the issue. It sounds like you are saying the washer will not fill, which is not a pump issue.
Anyway, take off the belt and see if the machine will spin, that will tell you if the pump is binding up the motor.

the problem with the pump is the bearing in the pulley on the pump siezed up. so i am not sure with out it working i can make sure the rest is fine. I dont know if ordering a new pump will be enough.

If you run it without the belt on you should be able to determine if the motor is operating ok.

If this is happening with the belt off then the problem is likely in your motor.
