Probably a part of the original shipping bolts. They're installed and wired to the suspension to keep it from movement during shipping, and the bolts fall into receiver cups when the shipping strap is removed. Usually, they're never seen, unless you tip the machine while moving it. Keep it and throw it into the pile of parts the next repairman has on the floor when working on the machine for a laugh. (A lot of repairmen don't recognize them either.)
