Washer Repair

We have owned this GE Front Loading Washer for about 1 year and love it. It has saved on our water bills and cleans clothes real well. The only complaint my wife has is that it gets out of balance on the spin cycle when she is washing towels and heavier items. It never does this washing whites. Is there any fix for this???

Well, if it is still less than one year old, it should be under factory warranty and GE should come out and look at it.

If it is not in factory warranty, I would take off the back and see if a visual inspection reveals anything. Really cannot offer much more than that because as a new model it is not something repair folks like us have worked on. Now a 20 year old GE, that's something we could opine on at length.
