Basket not turning during normal use. Ran diagnostic test and all worked except final C:08 step (fast basket counter rotation) Does this point to the motor control unit?

I would think so, but check out the resistence in the motor windings just to be on the safe side.

Checked the motor windings and if I'm testing correctly, I'm getting less than 1 ohm. The manual tells me the windings should be 6 ohms. Any suggestions on what this could be pointing to?

I think it is pointing to a bad motor. If you buy from this site and it does not fix the problem you can return it, see the returns policy for conditions and procedures. If you bought the MCU from this site and it was not needed you can return it also.
