Based on your post, You need to check the hot water fill valve solenoid for resistance and or 120 volts at the fill valve in a hot wash fill setting. That will tell us if the temperaure switch and the timer are working correctly. Have you tried starting the washer on a cold wash, cold rinse or warm wash, cold rinse setting ? That will give us a better idea of what's wrong.

Since you have a new timer, we can bypass that for now. Did you check for the 120 VAC at the fill valve solenoid(s) in a fill setting ? Tan/Black to White on the solenoid wires,in a Hot fill, should have 120 VAC Yellow/Red to white on the solenoid wires, in a cold fill should have 120 VAC If you have the voltage, replace the fill valve, Part number: AP3094541 At the water level switch: Check Purple to chassis ground for 120 VAC, Check Pink to chassis ground for 120 VAC, No 120 VAC on Purple, Bad Lid switch or wire, No 120 VAC on Pink, bad water level switch. Part number: AP3180933 Part number: AP4567828 *** These are "live" voltage checks, so be CAREFUL ***

Found Water level switch was shorted. Points inside burnt completely off causing a floating piece of metal debris. BTW: Thank you for your help. |
