Washer Repair

The washer will not start. The lights are on, and the red light showing the wash selection is flashing. But the cycle will not start when the start button is pressed. Does anyone have a repair manual specifically for this model?

If the unit is less than one year old, it should be covered by factory warranty and you can get Whirlpool out to fix it.

If it is not covered, look inside the lower service panel or under the top for tech notes that you can use to diagnose the problem. Focus on the door lock assembly.

If you still need help, please post a full model number and lets see what you have.
