My wife and I got this GE washer about 4 years ago. It has worked perfectly since then and just recently the cold/cold setting stopped working. All the other setting work fine, it's just the cold/cold setting that doesn' work. When it is on the cold/cold setting, the washer won't start, but it starts with all other temp settings. Anyone with an idea on how I could resolve this without paying a ton of money? We've never had an issue until now.

Try changing out the temp switch, this part here.

Part number: AP3995259
Part number: AP3995259

It is a pretty easy task, just take off the back of the console and change it out, making sure the wires go on as before.

If you purchase from this site and it does not fix the problem you can return the part, see the returns policy for requirements.

This is about as inexpensive as you can get on repair of a GE
