I have a GE WPSR4130W1WW top load washer, approx. 11 years old. The spin cycle is working erratically. Here is my info:

Cottons cycle:
Trial one - behaved completely normally, spun out.
Trial two - at spin cycle, spun briefly, then pumped. Repeated 3 more times, then stopped completely.
Trial three (advancing by hand)- same as trial two
Trial four -(advancing by hand) - spun normally

Easy Care: All trials by hand advancing - several times it spun briefly, then pumped; once spun normally

Prewash: Every trial by hand advancing - spins

Handwash: Hand advancing, Pumps and hums during all trials, no spin

The timer knob has a lot of play in it - I did try moving the shaft around when there was no spin to see if that would change things, but no go.

Does it seems like I've got bad timer contacts? The lid switch and pressure switch test out fine. Anything else to test, electrically, that might cause this issue? Thanks!

Since it does operate correctly at least some of the time the evidence would suggest the timer is at fault.
