Red face Spin Cycle not wringing out clothes
Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 1 - 5 years

Appliance Parts from AppliancePartPros.com

My Whirlpool direct drive washer is no longer spinning fast enough to wring out the clothes on the spin cycle. Washer will fill and drain. When I open the lid during the spin cycle the tub is spinning but not very fast. after removing the clothes I can move the tub freely and hear a slight amount of water in the bottom of the tub. What needs to be fixed?

The problem can be a bad clutch or a bad drive block.

You can find more useful information as well as the instructions in one of our previous threads: not spinning

For any further assistance we need the complete model number of the washer.
