Model Number: 110.27086601 Brand: Kenmore Age: Less than 1 year
Last night the washer quit during the rinse cycle. There was a flashing "1" on the display before it completely went blank. There was water and clothes in the washer and the lid was locked. I called sears and they told me that it would be two weeks until they could have someone come look at it. Hearing that, I forced open the lid so that the clothes would sit in the water for two weeks. In doing so I broke the little piece of plastic that locks the lid. Today I drained the washer and plugged it back in...still nothing. I opened it up and checked the fuse on the control board and it is good. Wall power is also good. I am thinking that the problem is either the control board/power supply or the input board. Thanks in advance.
