My Duet washer buttons do not respond. The problem is not 100 percent constant. On some tries, a button will work. First it was the button that changes the spin speed. I have not been able to do that via button for a long time. then it was the extra rinse. I have not been able to do that for a while too.

Now, the problem is the start button. I hold it down and sometimes after 30 seconds or so, the washer will start. And sometimes it won't. In that case, I try changing the cycle and can usually finally get it to start.

Sometimes when attempting to change the cycle via the dial/pointer, the lights get very messed up and do not correspond to where the pointer is positioned.

Just a little while ago, i managed to run a whitest white cycle. Then I wanted to do another one and I held the start button for a long time with no luck. I turned the dial to heavy duty and the lights stayed on whitest white. I pressed start and it worked after a couple of seconds.

After that cycle, I switched to another cycle and was not able to get the start button to work at all. Finally after switching about 5 times, I went to just regular wash and got it to start.

I have noticed that if I wait a few hours, I may be able to start the desired cycle a second time if I hold the button down for a few seconds.

Any ideas?
