machine won't stop or spin

Model Number: WJRR4170E1WW Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years

I started a wash on a setting and then noticed after a "lengthy" amount of time that the thing was still going and then I saw that it was going thru "all" settings and then noticed that it was not spinning. The timer (clicking sound) is constantly running..had to unplug in order to stop it...help!
