I have aGE washing machine i got bout 10 or so years ago brand new from best buy.

Now present day it works fine, But when it goes into the spin cycle, sometimes when it is in spin cycle, when it wants to go into the higher spin speed, it will just shut off and as soon as it starts to spin again and wants to go into the higher spin speed, ti will shut down again.

so on and off again constantly during the spin cycles, sometimes it will spin fine and go all the way but other times when it "acts up" it will happen all weekend long, on and off during the spin cycle.

What is going on with this thing?? i have been fixingmy own and others appliances for decades, i am the "go to" guy in the family. i also work HVAC for aliving so i am well versed in this stuff, but i just cant figure it out.

This sounds like a problem with the control module assembly, so I would try replacing it. It is not an expensive part, relatively speaking and if you buy from this site (no we who respond are not part of APP) and it does not fix the problem you can return it. See the returns policy for conditions.
