E3 Maytag Neptune
Model Number: MAH9700aww Brand: -brand- Age: Less than 1 year
I have the E3 error. Resistance check at CN9 is 11.6 ohms
What else could be wrong. My washer won't even turn. Ads By Google Related Models

Ok, the good news is that it sounds like your motor is ok. The bad news is that there is a boatload of electronics on this model, any one of which can go bad and give you that error message. The worse news is that even if I could link you to the service manual, (which I cannot, Maytag won't let me) it is not very complete or even very helpful.
The worst news is about the only way to fix this thing is to start replacing the electronics, and since there may be a wiring issue even that may not help fix it. I assume you have the tech notes by your comments on testing the motor. There is not much else I can do for you. Sorry not to be more helpful.
