Model Number: LA7680XKW1 Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
My washer runs thru the complete cycle but I now have a loud clunk when it shifts to the spin cycle. The clunk also occurs if you lift the lip stopping the cycle then close it again to start it. I suspect that I am down to the rivits on the basket drive linings. What do you think and what all do I need to take apart to replace these. I have also heard thet the (eyelets) rivit are no longer available. Please Help before my goes for my throat (joke) Thank you
