Model Number: lsb 6300pw4 Brand: Whirlpool Age: Less than 1 year
My washer has been shaking bad lately so I took the cover off and noticed one of the suspension springs that has another spring which is twice as long on the other side of the bracket has fallen off and it was on the bottom of the cabinet, this is the short fat spring on the back side of the washer. I can't figure out where this spring goes, I have looked everywhere in that area but I don't see wherre it can connect.
I checked the parts website drawing and I see the spring but can't see wher e it connects. It is spring # 3 on the parts list and spring #15 is on the other side. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ads By Google Related Models |

It hooks from the bracket onto the base, but I do not have a picture to link you to how it goes. See if you cannot find the natural slot, knowing that the spring should not be stretched much. Also, I would replace all the springs while you are in their and check the brackets, because the springs should not fall off.
